Get Rid Of Stretch Marks After They Have Developed.
By Heidi Marie
Stretch marks, also known as striae, happen when you gain or lose weight rapidly. At first they are a red or purple color and as time passes they turn into a white silver color. The best time to treat stretch marks if you want to get rid of them is immediately. The longer you wait, the hard it is going to be to get rid of them without having to do laser removal or surgery. You want to start treatment within the first 12 months after your pregnancy. There are creams designed to help reduce the appearance of stretch marks. You should start applying the stretch mark cream two to three time a day, as you would prior to having your baby. It can be really hard to get rid of stretch marks once they develop. You may not ever be able to completely get rid of them, but with a good cream you should be able to reduce their appearance pretty significantly. |
